CHEMICALS

Designed to modify rubber recipes by providing very specific characteristics to a compound.

ABOUT RUBBER PROCESSING CHEMICALS

Rubber chemicals are substances or compounds used in the manufacturing and processing of rubber products. These chemicals play a crucial role in enhancing the properties of rubber, such as its strength, elasticity, durability, and resistance to various environmental factors. Rubber chemicals can be categorized into several types, each serving a specific purpose in the rubber industry.

Rubber chemicals are an essential part of your elastomer formulation to balance processing and challenging specifications.  Curatives and accelerators aid vital properties such as hardness, tensile, elasticity and compression retention while balancing cure rates for processing and cycle times. Antidegradants provide service life in application by protecting elastomers against the environment. Flame retardants provide smoke and fire suppression.  In addition, resins are essential for adhesion and building tack.
